Best dressed red lips

Red is a color of passion. Red lipstick has always been the classic in lip wear. Any red carpet would always have at least one celebrity lady radiating her chic and glam by wearing rouge lipstick.

Red has its own rainbow: crimson or raspberry pink, magenta color, scarlet or cherry red, murrey or carrot-red. This color inspired poets, painters, designers and simply men to kiss those lips that blossom like roses.

The top five Hollywood red lips would be:

5 and casual red lips

4 and classic scarlet

Barton Red Lips

3 and her own style of carrot-red lipstick

2 and her cherry red lips

1 and ruby red lips. She’s definitely the queen of red lipstick. Her amazing extraordinary style is a trend on its own. Gwen and red lipstick always go together so well it suits her no matter what she wears or where she goes.

#1 and there has never been a single woman in history wearing red lipstick better than Gwen

And sure one red hot tip for your lips from me:

If you wear red lipstick never put too much of other make up like eye shadows. Just mascara and a tone would do fantastic. Otherwise you will end up looking like who put too much white shadow on the inside corner of her eyes.

Watch out, even a little can do too much.

Shoes from Dancing With the Stars

If you’re like me, you watch the TV show Dancing With the Stars religiously, and admire how the women on the program could salsa dance in such little, yet beautiful clothing or how they could tango in those four-inch heels. I mean, I could barely stand in my two-inch pumps, let alone dance! And put me in one of those sequined numbers, well, let’s just say the show would have to be on at a slightly later hour.

Leave it to the wardrobe department for the show to know precisely where to stick that double-sided tape, and as far as the shoes go … I imagine the female dancers have a little help. (A comfy sole insert perhaps?)

Two-time winner Julianne Hough from the show has partnered with Dr. Scholl’s for Her before. And recently, she worked with the feet-helper on a celeb shoe auction.

The shoes from the hit show’s dancers are up for grabs now. They were worn on the show by celebrities like Jane Seymour, Melanie Brown and Lisa Rinna (just to name a few). Proceeds from the online auction go to the charity foundation Clothes Off Our Back, which auctions celebrity attire to raise money to improve the lives of children across the globe.

The auction kicked off April 10 so they’re going fast! Get more info at GreatForTheSole.com on how to bid on the signed heels worn by your favorite dancers from Dancing With the Stars.

So, whose shoes would you want to buy?

Britney Spears Ordered To Pay Lawyers Nearly $400,000

Singer accrued legal fees from various cases over the past few months.
When Britney Spears lost control of her finances and estate in February, she didn’t just lose the right to make her own medical and legal decisions — she lost the right to a whole lot of money too. A Los Angeles court ruled Thursday (April 17) that Spears must foot the bill for nearly $400,000 in legal fees accrued throughout the past few months, according to The Associated Press.

Among those getting paid are Geraldine Wyle, who represented Brit’s father, Jamie, in his bid for conservatorship ($175,000); trust attorney Clark Byam, a lawyer representing Britney’s brother, Bryan Spears ($22,500); and Stacy Phillips, Britney’s divorce lawyer ($75,000).

All of those fees are for bills accrued through March 31, AP reports.

Also receiving payment as part of the order are Andrew Wallet, a co-conservator of Spears’ finances, who will receive $100,000, and Samuel Ingham, Spears’ court-appointed attorney. He will receive $10,000 a week through the end of July.

Wallet and Jamie Spears gained conservatorship of the pop singer’s estate in late February after escalating crises, including a drawn-out custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline that brought Spears to the brink of collapse and twice landed her in the hospital. Their control over Spears’ estate will last until at least July 31.

A conservatorship is a court-appointed legal guardianship, which gives a person or persons total legal control over another individual. That individual, sometimes called a ward, loses control over his or her own affairs when a court declares them unfit to care for their own interests, most often because of age but sometimes due to incapacity or disease.

Celebrity Photo Agency Apologizes to Tony Parker

In a humbling apology buried on its Web site, celebrity photo agency X17online.com has finally admitted that nearly a dozen stories about Eva Longoria Parker’s husband were fabricated.

“In December 2007, X17online.com published over ten articles concerning Tony Parker and a woman named Alexandra Paressant. Various of the articles asserted that, after Mr. Parker was introduced to Ms. Paressant by Thierry Henry at this wedding to Eva Longoria, Mr. Parker engaged in sexual relations with Ms. Paressant. Since the publication of these articles, X17online.com and X17, Inc. have discovered that Mr. Parker has never met with, or spoken to, Ms. Paressant nor has he ever had sexual relations with her. X17online.com and X17, Inc. regret having been misled by Ms. Paressant and her representatives and apologize to Mr. Parker for any damage or inconvenience this may have caused him or his wife,” the statement read.

A lawyer for Parker, 25, told media outlets on Dec. 18 that his client had never met the alleged adulteress and both Parker and Longoria Parker. Three days later the NBA launched legal action against X17 for $40 million in damages.

Intra-continental investigations by PEOPLE at the time revealed that Paressant fabricated French identity documents, infringed copyrights by using online photos of other models and also used two cellphones to masquerade as her “best friend” and agent. Among other falsehoods, Saint Nazaire-born Paressant, 28, falsely claimed to be a model for Victoria’s Secret and Dolce and Gabbana on her MySpace page. Her page has since been stripped of photos and is now set to private. Her last log in date was nearly two weeks ago.

“I love my wife,” Parker had said in a statement to PEOPLE when the allegations first surfaced. “She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.” Longoria Parker, 33, who took her husband’s name after their July 2007 nuptials, added, “Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.”

Get Smart

Cinema Society Screening of SJP’s New Movie Ellen Page is the antithesis of a glamour girl on-screen, but she’s slowly embracing the requirements of the real-life red carpet. For Monday night’s Cinema Society screening of Smart People, Page chose a sharp Bottega Veneta dress and told us her fashion secret: “I work with really awesome people who totally listen to what I want.” While Page’s knee-length frock bordered on the conservative, her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker lived up to her fashion risk-taker rep in an electric pink Jil Sander coat, a navy tunic, black leggings, and a leopard clutch. But Parker was more interested in talking acting chops than wardrobe choices. “Juno hadn’t been shot yet when we did this movie,” she said. “But you didn’t need a lot of time with Ellen to know that she’s very special.” And indeed, Page was the center of attention at the Bowery Hotel after-party, where she got to rub shoulders with the likes of Parker Posey, Donna Karan, Jane Fonda, Candace Bushnell, and Ellen Barkin.

How stars really get perfect skin

Emergency cover-up

One weapon you’ll find in red-carpet clutches: the EraseZit Antiseptic Concealer Pencil. It treats and covers, says facialist Joanna Czech of Sava Spa. Before bed, make like Jessica Biel and dab on Sonya Dakar’s Drying Potion. Or try Dakar’s pimple paste: a packet of yeast and water.

Microdermabrasion

“It’s still the number-one procedure actresses ask for,” says derm Harold Lancer, M.D., who treats Denise Richards. Lighting directors love how it micropolishes skin for a pearl-like finish. Some stars do it every 10 days while filming, at $225 a pop; you could try just his scrub, or the whole shebang.

Green-tea masks

Their antioxidants perk up a tired complexion, says facialist Christine Chin, who uses them at her spa on stars like Rachel Weisz: “Actresses are on planes the way we’re on subways and buses, so their skin can get especially dehydrated and blotchy.”

Hardworking eye pads

Bags are hard to hide even when you have makeup pros on call, so stars like Ren´e Zellweger stock up on LotuSculpt Eye Pads from facialist Tracie Martyn. Dampen with the “activator” solution—it contains botanical skin-soothers—and stick on for 10 minutes to get that eight-hours-of-sleep look.
