Popular US plastic surgeon Dr Tony Youn writes a blog on celebrity plastic surgery.
He says:
“Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johannsen, and even Julia Roberts have inspired many celebs to augment their lips, sometimes to unnatural sizes.
“The main sign of an overdone lip is an alteration of the natural lip proportions.
“The lower lip should be 1.5 times the size of the upper lip.
“Unfortunately, many celebrities, such as Brittany Murphy and Britney Spears have over-plumped their upper lips to make them larger than the lower lips.
“This ‘trout pout’ look works best in ducks.
“As long as celebs keep the proportions of their upper lip to their lower lip to 1:1.5, they will likely look pretty natural.”
